A few people have asked about my new Development Economics course, ECN 3600. The most common question is whether it counts as an elective course. Answer: Yes! Absolutely.
University websites and paperwork take a while to update, and this is a new course, so the major requirement sheet has not been updated yet. But I have seen it, and it lists my course as a qualifying elective. Take it!
Jobs for Economics Majors
You know that one of biggest questions I get is, “What will I do with an economics major?” I get it so much that I went on an online jobs site and found 15 jobs looking for economics majors. There were so many different jobs, it was a pretty cool experience to see what was out there.
